Roseville and Rocklin Areas Continue Struggle to Fill Office Space

According to the Colliers International Office Overview, the hardest hit area in our region for office vacancy is the Roseville and Rocklin markets.

The good news is the worst may be over.

Although the area accounted for 60% of the area’s net absorption, it also accounted for the bulk of the new construction leaving the area vulnerable when business closed and new business stalled.  At the end of 2009 the Roseville and Rocklin vacancy rate for Class A space was just over 40%.  With movement beginning in the private sector and landlord incentives increasing.  2010 looks to be a better year for Roseville and Rocklin office space market.
