In my opinion the luncheons are a great way to network and meet new contacts. The luncheons all ways have great speakers and an oppotrunity to share your promotional materials with other members. I highly reccomend the luncheons.
If you haven’t made it to this lunch, you need to! There is no better place to connect and network with so many local and influential business owners.
Chamber lunches have been a great place for me to catch up with colleagues and meet new business owners. There is 30 minutes of networking time prior to the lunch which is ample time to really talk to others and find out more about them. The guest speakers help me to stay in touch with what is going on in our community. And, I can’t forget to mention how fabulous the lunches always are. Great catering!
Chamber lunch presenters were great today. Kim Silvers and Scott Shibayama provided an interesting and entertaining look at how things are changing as companies look to retain their best employees when the market turns around. Well done! (avatar interviewing, really??)
I enjoy the fellowship and information presented at the luncheons. It is one more opportunity to meet new members as well as regular attending members. My recommendation is come early and stay late. In addition, you have the complimentary tables in the back of the room to showcase your business collateral to all that are present. It is about as good as it gets for a local business person!
It’s always great to learn about what’s going on in the community and meet like-minded entrepreneurs working towards growing their own business and supporting others. Tom Miller gave a great economic update and explained how Placer County has stacked up to our neighboring Counties during the “Great Recession.”
