The Update on Rally For Rainee, Can You Help

Rally for Rainee has raised over $2000 so far.  $3,000 more to go… will you help?

On January 1, 2010 the Roseville Chamber of Commerce informed the membership via the Eblast program about of one of our Chamber Family members in need.   Rainee Sellers of Vision Quest Information Services, was in desperate need of a kidney donor.  We are very please to say that a kidney donor has been found and the surgery will take place on Monday, July 26th!

Rick Seher a childhood friend of Marc’s (Rainees husband) is donating his kidney to Rainee.  Rick and his wife Alyssa live in Idaho with their three children; ages 5, 3 and 18 months. While the insurance will pay for most of the expenses, it’s just not enough.  Marc and Rainee have a goal to raise $5,000.  This will cover Rick’s travel, healthcare and living expenses for the surgery as well as the month long recovery period.

How can you help?

 

Rally for Rainee!  The Roseville Chamber of Commerce has organized Rally for Rainee. This is a challenge between our family of Chamber members to help raise the $5,000 needed to help the donor and his family with the aftercare.  Here is how it works:  The company or organization that raises the most money will receive a fabulous advertising package through the Roseville Chamber’s programs.  We hope we can count on your support!

    Hello Ladies-

    I am so excited for Rainee and her family. I have set up the following LINK so that it can be posted (Facebook, RosevilleChamberNow, etc.) and emailed out to our chamber members. 40% of all sales will be going to the family, plus I will be donating all of my commission as well. It is set to be open for 2 weeks (until 7/22).
