Open Networking on January 21st!
How much would you pay to have an opportunity to exchange business cards in a fun, organized environment with about 6 -10 people you don’t know in about 20 minutes?
Eleven times each year the Roseville Chamber of Commerce hosts a monthly networking lunch. Most recently we experimented with a new concept by offering Open Networking in place of a featured speaker. We received such great response from our members (and non-member attendees) that we are ringing in the new year with Open Networking as our first 2011 luncheon program! So what is open networking and what can you expect?
Essentially open networking, Roseville Chamber style is when everyone in the room has an opportunity to exchange business information with individuals in two minute timed intervals. Here is what a few of our members have said about this format:
“I really like the open networking lunches because I have a chance to meet anyone and anyone who attends the lunch, not just the people sitting at my table. I love sharing information about my school and this is the perfect opportunity.” Christa Green, Owner Brighton Schools.
“I love coming to the Chamber lunch. I can get out of my shop for a few hours, have a nice meal plus I love the free table space to showcase my business and talk to all the people.” Valerie Mebust, Owner Promote Me.
“I’ve been attending the Roseville Chamber luncheon for four years and today’s was the most productive ever! Thank you for this networking format and maybe we could incorporate this once a quarter. Everybody seemed to like it and this business owner appreciated it!” Anthony Luna, Owner Town Planner Community Calendar.
