The Hero Next Door: Placer SPCA Seeks Nominations for 2012 Hero Awards

Placer SPCA is seeking nominations for the 2012 Hero Awards, to be presented at the 11th annual Funny Bones Comedy and Awards Night on Friday, April 27. Do you know a person, animal, organization, or business in Placer County that has gone above and beyond to demonstrate how strong the human-animal bond can be? Nominate them for a Placer SPCA Hero Award! Nomination forms and event ticket sales are available at placerspca.org/funnybones.

Funny Bones includes a silent and live auction, full dinner, the Hero Awards presentations, and a set by a national headliner, comedian Dan St. Paul. Those interested in attending Funny Bones are encouraged to act quickly, as tickets typically sell out weeks before the event. Individual tickets can be purchased for just $75 if purchased by March 31 or $100 if purchased after April 1. Funny Bones will be held at the beautiful Timber Creek Ballroom at Sun City, Roseville (7050 Del Webb Blvd., Roseville) on Friday, April 27 from 5:30p.m. – 9:30 p.m.
