Fire Training in Downtown Roseville Saturday April 14th
The Roseville Fire Department will be conducting training exercises in Downtown Roseville at 115 S. Grant Street on Saturday April 14th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The fire department will be setting a series of small room fires to practice fire attack, search and rescue operations. Only wood pallets and dry straw will be burned inside the building, the building itself will not be allowed to burn. Precautions have been taken to ensure the safety of the public and all surrounding structures.
This type of training is essential to maintaining well-trained firefighters. This exercise will allow fire personnel a chance to enhance their skills in fire suppression while working in a safe, controlled environment.
The building at 115 S. Grant street (in front of the Civic Center) is scheduled for demolition to make way the new Town Square project.
