2012 ASA Girls 10u/12u Class A Western National Championship

The City of Roseville and the Greater Sacramento Softball Association, a Non-Profit Softball Organization, will be hosting the 2012 ASA 10u/12u Class A Western National Championship Softball Tournament at Maidu Regional Park and Mahany Park in Roseville. This event will be held July 30^th-August 5^th, 2012.  We are expecting 60 + teams and their families for the tournament, which translates into 750 softball players, 200 + coaches, managers and 3,500 parents and fans from throughout the country for the 7 day event.

The GSSA has hosted 19 National Championship Tournaments over the past 18 years and are very proud to be chosen for yet another prestigious event.

The Girls tournament opening ceremonies will be held on Monday, July 30^th. The tournament play begins at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning and continues through the Championship games on Sunday afternoon.

WHAT YOU AND YOUR BUSINESS CAN DO TO HELP:

When each team checks in, we would like to provide them with a basket of gifts and coupons from local businesses. At this time, we would like to extend an invitation to your business to provide us coupons, gifts or marketing items that will be distributed to team free of charge.  This is a wonderful opportunity for you to show your support of this event while encouraging teams to visit your place of business.  Placer Valley Tourism has estimated that this event will bring 3 – 5 million dollars to the local economy.
