Call for Nominations- Top 40 Under 40

Again this year, the Sacramento Business Journal will honor 40 people under 40 who excel in their professions and contribute to the community.

Nominees must work in Sacramento, El Dorado, Placer or Yolo counties. They must have been born after Dec. 14, 1972.

The Sacramento Business Journal will publish its annual “40 Under 40” supplement listing the honorees on Dec. 14. The newspaper also will host an evening awards event. Every year, our 40 Under 40 honorees reflect the mix of brains and passion that makes Sacramento special.

New this year: Beginning in July, a selection of nominees will be profiled every other week in a special print and online feature. Profile subjects will be chosen at random and will be given no advantage in the selection of honorees.

A panel of judges will choose the final 40 honorees based on their influence on local business and industry. Contributions to the civic health of the Sacramento region through volunteer work and other forms of philanthropy also will be considered.
