COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT & EDUCATION DIVISION

BECOME
(Business, Educators, Community Organized to Maximize Education)

This committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:30 a.m. in the Chamber office. This educational arm of the Chamber has formed a unique partnership with the four area school districts, businesses and other community organizations.


Sylvia Besana Annual Holiday Parade
November 17, 2012, Downtown Roseville – Vernon St.

This ad hoc committee meets on the call of the Chair.  This annual parade is sponsored by local businesses and attended by thousands of local residents.


Leadership Roseville

This 9-month program runs Sept-June. It provides an educational and interactive program to aid in the development of community awareness and leadership training.


Splash – September 8, 2012

This ad hoc committee meets on the call of the Chair.  This fund-raising event is sponsored in conjunction with the City of Roseville and is purely social.


ECONOMIC AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS DIVISION

Economic and Government Affairs Committee

This committee meets on the first Friday of the month at 7:30 a.m. at various Chamber member locations
Mission: To work in tandem with the City of Roseville to ensure that we remain competitive while attracting new employers to the area and to review legislation affecting the business community on the local, state and federal levels.


Revitalization Committee

This committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in the Chamber office and focuses on improvements in Roseville’s downtown, central and historic areas.


Young Professionals Organization – Ignite

This committee meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in the Chamber office.
Mission: Dedicated to improving the professional and personal quality of life for young people in the South Placer region.


MEMBERSHIP SERVICES DIVISION

Membership Advisory Council

This committee meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. in the Chamber office.
Mission: This Committee reviews the programs, services and benefits of Chamber membership and develops strategies to communicate the message to members and the community at large.


Ambassador Club

This club meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 11:45 a.m. at various member locations. These volunteers focus their efforts on membership retention and serve as the public relations arm for the Chamber.
